The Canal Like a Mirror

Recently the lakes here have looked like that and I always want to take a picture but, I am usually driving across a bridge and it is not the best time to snap a shot.
The weather is fixing to change here. We are headed into the rainy season pattern. I am kinda glad as the clear weather means that it is really cold, well a little above freezing I mean, which is laughable in some places. But when you are used to a narrow range of temperature you get really spoiled. So this to say that the clouds today are more solid and not as interesting. You know, nature is so beautiful and we are so fortunate to be equally endowed with the ability to see beauty if we will but choose to "see".
I am so happy you read my blog and decided to share your photo story. Wow, what a beautiful photo of the clouds and the canal. Sharing about art (no matter what type of art) is so important to me. It is what makes the world go round. I have read your profile and think we have many things in common. Thanks so much.

Oh, this is such a painterly photo! I love the "through the looking glass" effect. Sky in earth, clouds in water. So poetic. xo Kari
