No they are not part of something else. I was going to use them as hand made beads in a sculpture for the bead Journal project. I actually do the BJP the next year and so these were just a remnant of an idea. I am posting them because Arlee at Albedo Design Journal said that she was going to experiment around with 3-D and fabric. Hope it inspires her, or becomes a jumping off point. I showed you that I had a little sewing kit that I could take with me. The hand is made from tee shirt fabric that i just rolled or otherwise folded into shape and sewed down. Use what you can and acknowledge me if you will.

I think this 3 d quilting is great! Just imaginine all the forms you could make with it.
It has a gypsy feel to it.
